This image (composite of a real shot of the actor in front of the stairs with a matte painting of the Eloi Great Hall for the background) is not a scene still, but an individual image extracted from the film reel (the shot was cut earlier in this scene). This B&W frame enlargement does not have any reference written on it. But on the back of the original print intended for the press, the reference is indicated, and we can read this caption: "The traveler arrives... The Time Traveller, played by Rod Taylor, arrives at the great, partly crumbling, dining hall of the Eloi people in the land of the far, far future -- 802,701 A.D. to be exact."
