Photographed by Frank Shugrue, this rarest production still belongs to the personal collection of David Pal, George's elder son, who worked on the shooting of The Time Machine as a stop-motion animator, while his younger brother Peter played one of the Morlocks. It is  reproduced in the book George Pal: Man of Tomorrow by Justin Humphreys (BearManor Media, 2023).
